[While Aki is scared and lost in this world, she's also trying to keep herself composed in the new and unknown place. This isn't easy, which is noticeable from the way she's looking around her because of every little sound.

She seems to be searching for something or someone. It's the owner of the rather large, brown jacket she's wearing around her normal clothes. Someone very important to her and she needs to find him right now.

She's getting rather desperate and more and more scared that she's been left alone. Abandoned again.

Where... is he.]

[Audio]

[Later, th listeners are greeted with a rather unknown music that can be recognized as the theme that plays in the Team Rocket Base. The music is the only thing you can hear before a few moments pass.]

Divine... if you're here, please. Please answer me.

[The girl sounds slightly scared, but most of all, she sound lonely and desperate. She had tried to find the man she spoke of for so long with no results.]

I know I failed to meet your expectations... but I will do better. I will do better, so please let me know where you are. I-

[After a small, sad sigh, she falls silent. Then she finally addressing the network itself.]

Whoever did this... I will not forgive them.

[One of the things Crow most certainly didn't expect to hear today was a voice he would recognize from back home. And yet here it is. The moment he hears it (along with some weird music theme that he's sure he's heard before, but can't really put his finger on where exactly), he knows who it belongs to -- it's a close friend of his, so really, how could he not?

But he doesn't jump to answer the message immediately. Instead, he hesitates for a moment, finger lingering over the reply button on his 'Gear. It's been a while... a long time since he's seen her; it's entirely plausible his mind is playing tricks on him (Saber did mention the possibility of a person going mad here, and honestly, at this point it wouldn't surprise him it he eventually did), that he's just imagining things and the girl on the other end is someone completely different. Especially when what she said and the way she did are very... unlike her. It makes no sense -- she does sound like herself, but at the same time, she doesn't.

... Only one way to find out, right?

Taking a deep breath, the duelist finally hits the button. When his face appears on the screen, he does keep calm (even though he really feels like his heart might give out any second now), though there's a combination of doubt and curiosity present there as well.]



... Aki...?

[The video response makes Aki almost take a step back. She wasn't expecting it and the guy who she's never seen knows her name. How does he know her name? Of course, she was known as the Black Rose Witch, but not many knew her real name or cared one way or another.]

Who are you?

[Something is wrong. So blatantly wrong, and he should notice that immediately.

But he doesn't, too overjoyed to see one of his close friends after such a long time. How long has it been? Two years? ... He figures it's something like that, but details don't matter at the moment. Thus, he gives her a huge, happy grin, imaging she must be doing the same on the other end.]

C'mon, the hell's that supposed to mean? I know it's been a while since we last saw each other-- well, for me anyway, pretty sure that's not the case for you-- but that line's just silly!

[... Unless he's done something stupid to piss her off before she left home and now she's mad, but that's unlikely... right? Oh well, he'll know in a minute.]

[Sorry Crow. The only thing going on at the end of the other gear is a confused and a little bit angry face - not that you can see it, since Aki hasn't turned on the video feature yet. She's too suspicious of Crow to do that.

She couldn't remember anyone who looked like that. She couldn't remember anyone who sounded like that. This guy was completely unknown to him.

Him remember her would make more sense if he would hate her. If this person would just call her a witch and tell her to go to hell, then there wouldn't be so much confusion. Instead, the guy was grinning at him. He was happy to see her.

Aki sounds like she's on the alert when she speaks.]

I've never met you. [This the time question comes move demanding:] Who are you?

[She doesn't really want to talk to strangers, but this might be a way to find out a thing or two.]

[Trance is very good at finding people who don't want to talk to her, strangely enough. Even here. It's something of a talent.]

Well, if you DID just get here, here is probably New Bark Town, but if you've been here a while, here might be almost anyplace. If you're asking about a general here, though, it's probably Johto or Kanto, depending on which way you went from New Bark Town.

[The name isn't familiar to her at all. Nor does she know that she actually isn't in New Bark Town because she's spend time looking for Divine rather than looking at the surroundings.]

I haven't left the building I arrived to...

[And Trance has no idea that people arrive anywhere BUT New Bark Town. Fun times with the blind leading the blind.]

Have you met Mom yet? She's really nice, even if she is kind of weird.

[Aki stiffens at the thought of 'Mom'.]

No. How do you know she's here?

[ Momo and her Sunkern, followed by a Zubat and a Woobat, walk past the hall next to her. Woobat let's out a sharp chirp to let Momo know that someone new is there. Quickly, she pokes her head through the door and notices the new girl. ]

Hello....? Can I help you? You look a little lost.

[Aki looks like she's gone into a defensive mode when someone speaks to her. This new situation is really bad for her nerves.

Once she notices the girl doesn't look hostile she calms down, even if it's just a little.]

I'm looking for someone.

[ Momo's face becomes sympathetic. Is she new? Did she lose someone? Either way, the news isn't going to gently break. ]

Did you just wake up here...? If so, I'm afraid you're separated from them. This world is entirely separate. When you leave, you return to the exact time you're taken.

[It is a lot to take in. Separated... from him...? No. That couldn't be true. She doesn't care about the whole 'this isn't your world' stuff (for now) because the thourhg Divine not being here is a bigger issue.]

Well, there's a chance he could be here already but most of the times you're dropped here on your own. What's his name? I'll tell you if I ever saw or heard of him.

[Aki isn't the only one who's new and lost in this strange new world. Crocker is wandering the Rocket Base, and not minding the strange tiger like dog following the man.

As Denzel turns a corner Crocker's blue eyes lock onto hers and he recognizes that look of hopelessly and abandonment. Something the man has on a daily basics.]

It's life. Get use to it.

[Aki stops and looks startled. Really, this whole day has been a mess for her.]

I mean that it never goes the way you want it too. [Denzel states rather dryly.]

[Sure, there have been things that haven't gone the way she wanted them to, but that didn't mean nothing went as planned.]

Oh, am I now? [There was something creepy about the tone of his voice and how Denzel just takes a few steps towards her.] Go on. [Why yes, that's a challenge.]

[After Aki's heard about the world and several things she's gone from bad to worse, but she's trying to stay composed.]
